The projects collection

• Every project is a CMS entry, not a page built by hand. The fields are the ones a decorator actually sorts by: title, location, typology such as apartment, villa or restaurant, scope such as full renovation, furnishing only or a single room, year, and duration on site.
• Images group room by room inside the entry, so a five room apartment reads as five rooms. A flat grid of forty photographs asks the visitor to do the editing you were paid to do.
• Each project carries a short specification list. The sofa, the stone, the paint reference, the joiner, the fabric house, credited or withheld at your discretion, since some suppliers are your advantage and stay unnamed.
• A photography credit field is mandatory on every entry. Interior photographers licence their work, and a missing credit is the fastest way to lose the right to keep using an image.
• Related projects pull by typology rather than by date, so a visitor who arrived for a kitchen is offered two more kitchens instead of your most recent bathroom.
• Entries hold a draft state. You build the project page during handover and publish it the morning the photographs clear, without touching the design.

Before and after, quietly

• Before images are almost always phone photographs taken in bad light during a survey. Placed at the same size as a commissioned shot, they drag the commissioned shot down with them.
• Atelier sets the before in a smaller frame, lower on the page, captioned with a date. It reads as evidence of what you inherited, not as the main event.
• The change is revealed on scroll, slowly, with the finished room arriving first. There is no drag slider, because a drag slider carries the grammar of renovation television and reads as cheap on a design studio site.
• The field is optional, and the layout holds when it is empty. Private clients regularly refuse permission for images of their home before you touched it.
• For gut renovations, the before and after floor plan is often more persuasive than any photograph. It shows the decision you made, which is the thing being bought.

Process, fee, and who is asking

• The process page names your stages plainly. Brief and survey, concept, specification and procurement, site and installation, styling and handover. A client is buying the middle three, and most studio websites skip them entirely.
• Each stage says what the client has to do and how many rounds of revision it includes. That single line prevents the slow drift that eats the margin on a fixed fee.
• Fee models are named without euphemism. Fixed fee per room, a percentage of project value, an hourly rate for consultation, a day rate for a styling visit. Say which one you use and what triggers it.
• A starting figure belongs on the page. It does not have to be a full schedule. A floor, stated broadly, removes the enquiry you cannot serve and improves the ones that arrive.
• The trade route addresses developers, architects, agents and hospitality operators. Their proof is different: procurement capacity, delivery windows, schedules, snagging, and whether you can furnish twelve units at once.
• The private client route answers a different anxiety. How long will my home be a site, do I move out, who will have keys, and what happens if the sofa arrives in the wrong linen.
